The song must have an associated feeling or theme to it. It must be obvious! i.e. Happy, Sad, Terrified, Surprised, etc.
The song should have distinctly different parts (parts that are emphasized or de-emphasized or repeated). Simply put: There must be a beginning, middle and end, and a chorus.
The song must contain at least 4 different tracks and no more than 8 tracks
At least 2 of the tracks must change volume multiple times throughout the song – click on the downward pointing arrow at the end of the track icons to make a track’s volume fade in or out
At least one track must include a segment that loops – usually created by clicking in the upper left corner of a region and dragging to the right.
You can choose to record your own voice to sing or rap along with the music.
You can also import sound clips from your favorite songs to incorporate into your song (no more than 15 sec).
Once you are finished your song, export the file to an MP3 and save to your blog on a new page title: GarageBand Song Creation
In addition to your song, you must include:
A CD or record cover in full color to promote your new single. You should have a song name somewhere on your cover.
Lyrics to your song (2 versus and a chorus)
